1. Introduction Welcome to You Chic. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the You Chic website and application (the “Platform”) and bookings made through them. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Platform.
2. Our Services You Chic connects customers with licensed beauty professionals (“Service Providers”) who offer on-location services, including hairstyling, makeup, nail care, barbering, skincare, spa services, and more. You Chic facilitates bookings through the Platform. The booked beauty services are performed by the selected Service Provider.
3. Your Account and Responsibilities You must provide accurate contact, booking, and location information and keep your account details secure. You must not use the Platform for unlawful purposes, make fraudulent bookings, or engage in abusive or threatening conduct toward Service Providers or You Chic staff. Before receiving a service, inform your Service Provider of any allergies, sensitivities, or relevant health conditions that may affect its safe delivery.
4. Appointments Appointments are subject to Service Provider availability and booking confirmation through the Platform. You must be available at the agreed time and location and provide safe, reasonable access for your Service Provider. You Chic or the Service Provider may need to cancel or reschedule an appointment because of unavailability, safety concerns, emergencies, or circumstances beyond reasonable control. You will be notified through the contact details provided. Services may be refused where reasonably necessary for safety, legal compliance, or a breach of these Terms.
5. Prices and Payment Service prices and applicable fees will be displayed before you confirm your booking. Any additional services or charges must be agreed with you before they are incurred. Payment for completed services is due after the appointment, using the payment methods available through the Platform. Following successful payment, you will receive an SMS receipt showing the amount paid. Cancellation and no-show charges may apply as described below.
6. Cancellations, Rescheduling, and No-Shows You may cancel or request to reschedule an appointment through the website or application. Rescheduling is subject to availability. If you cancel your appointment, a cancellation fee may apply in accordance with the cancellation policy and charges disclosed before you confirm your booking. If your Service Provider arrives at the confirmed location and you are unavailable to receive the service, you may be charged the full booked service price in accordance with the no-show conditions disclosed before booking. If You Chic or your Service Provider cancels an appointment and the service is not delivered, you will not be charged a customer cancellation fee. Any amount already paid for the undelivered service will be refunded.
7. Refunds and Platform Service Fees Payments for completed services are generally non-refundable, subject to applicable law and the resolution of complaints about services that were not delivered as agreed. Any separate You Chic platform service fee will be clearly identified before booking. This fee is generally non-refundable when you cancel, subject to applicable law. If You Chic or your Service Provider cancels and the service is not delivered, any platform service fee paid for that booking will be refunded. Nothing in these Terms limits any refund or other remedy required by applicable law.
8. Service Concerns and Complaints If you experience an issue with a booking, payment, or service, contact You Chic through the support channels available on the Platform and provide your booking details and a description of the concern. You Chic will review the concern and coordinate with the Service Provider where appropriate. Any refund or other resolution will depend on the circumstances and applicable law.
9. Service Provider Responsibilities and Liability Service Providers are responsible for performing their services professionally and safely and maintaining the licenses required for the services they offer. To the extent permitted by applicable law, You Chic is not responsible for a Service Provider’s acts or omissions solely because the booking was made through the Platform. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for You Chic’s own acts or omissions where that liability cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
10. Privacy Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection law. Please review the Privacy Policy for details about how information is collected, used, shared, and protected, including information shared with Service Providers to fulfil bookings.
11. Platform Availability The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, to the extent permitted by applicable law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that the Platform will always be free from errors. Nothing in this section excludes rights or warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Suspension and Termination You Chic may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform for fraud, misuse, unlawful activity, safety concerns, or a material breach of these Terms. Where reasonably practicable, we will notify you and explain the reason. Immediate action may be taken where necessary for safety or legal compliance. Suspension or termination does not remove existing payment obligations or any refund rights.
13. Changes to These Terms We may update these Terms from time to time. The revised version and its effective date will be published on the Platform. For material changes, we will provide notice and obtain agreement where required by applicable law. Updated Terms will not retrospectively change confirmed bookings unless legally required or agreed with you.
14. Governing Law and Disputes These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Jordan, without limiting any mandatory rights available under applicable law.
